Resumen

La dinastía Durrani, también llamada dinastía Sadozai​fundada por Ahmad Shah Durrani, considerado el padre del Afganistán moderno. Tras la desintegración del Imperio persa de Nader Sha, Ahmad Shah unificó a las tribus pastunes y estableció un Estado que llegaría a convertirse en uno de los mayores imperios de Asia Central en el siglo XVIII. Bajo su gobierno, el Imperio Durrani se expandió desde Jorasán hasta Delhi, y desde el Amu Daria hasta el mar Arábigo, controlando territorios que hoy pertenecen a Afganistán, Pakistán, Irán, India y Tayikistán.
