개요
무라비트 왕조(아랍어: المرابطون 알 무라비툰[*], "리바트로부터 온 이들"), 알모라비드(Almoravid) 또는 이므라브덴(베르베르어: ⵉⵎⵕⴰⴱⴹⴻⵏ)은 모로코에 존재했던 베르베르계 무슬림 왕조로, 11세기 무렵에 서마그레브와 알안달루스 지역을 포함하여 광대한 영역을 지배하였다.
무라비트 왕조는 오늘날의 모리타니와 서사하라 일대에 거주했던 베르베르계 유목민인 람투나(Lamtuna)와 구달라(Gudala), 마수파(Massufa) 등의 부족들이 드라강, 나이저강, 세네갈강 사이의 영토를 횡단하는 연합체를 형성하면서 건국되었다. 건국자는 아달라흐 이븐 야신이었으며, 최초의 수도는 서아프리카 남부의 아주기였으나 그들이 급속도로 팽창함에 따라 모로코 중부의 아그마트, 최종적으로는 1070년에 새롭게 건설된 마라케시로 이전되었다. 그 뒤 제국은 유수프 이븐 타쉬핀 및 그의 후손들이 통치하는 마그레브를 중심으로 한 북부 지역과, 아부 바크르 이븐 우마르 및 그의 후손들이 통치하는 남부 지역으로 나뉘어졌다.
