개요

헝가리(헝가리어: Magyarország [ˈmɒɟɒrorsaːɡ] 머저로르사그[*], 듣기 , 문화어: 마쟈르)는 중앙유럽에 있는 내륙국이며 수도는 부다페스트이다.

서쪽과 북서쪽으로는 오스트리아, 북쪽으로는 슬로바키아, 북동쪽으로는 우크라이나, 동쪽과 남동쪽으로는 루마니아, 남쪽으로는 세르비아, 남서쪽으로는 크로아티아, 슬로베니아와 국경을 맞대고 있다. 폴란드, 체코, 슬로바키아와 함께 비셰그라드 그룹의 일원이자, 유럽 연합의 정회원국이다. 헝가리의 주민은 거의 대부분 우랄족에 속하는 헝가리인이다.
