概要
イタリア共和国（イタリアきょうわこく、イタリア語: Repubblica Italiana）、通称イタリア（伊: Italia）は、南ヨーロッパに位置する共和制国家。首都はローマ。 北はスイスとオーストリア、西はフランス、 東はスロベニアと国境を接している。南は地中海に囲まれており、アルバニア、アルジェリア、クロアチア、ギリシャ、リビア、マルタ、モンテネグロ、スペイン、チュニジアと海上境界線を共有している。また、国土には独立国であるバチカン市国とサンマリノ共和国が入れ子状に存在している。
