Überblick
Die Republik Neugranada (kurz Neugranada, spanisch República de la Nueva Granada, kurz spanisch Nueva Granada) war eine zentralistische Republik auf dem Gebiet des heutigen Kolumbiens und Panamas, sowie Teilen von Ecuador, Peru, Brasilien, Costa Rica, Venezuela und Nicaragua. Der Staat entstand nach der Auflösung Großkolumbiens 1830 durch die Abspaltung Ecuadors und Venezuelas. 1858 wurde der Staat umbenannt, als die Granada-Konföderation gebildet wurde.
